Pharrell Williams es un cantante, productor y compositor de música estadounidense, también conocido como Skateboard P, quien forma parte del dúo The Neptunes, junto a Chad Hugo, así como del grupo de rap-rock N.E.R.D, con Hugo y Shae Haley. Como parte de The Neptunes, Pharrell ha escrito y producido un gran número de canciones para artistas como: Michael Jackson, Madonna, Britney Spears, Kylie Minogue, Shakira, Snoop Dogg, Gwen Stefani, Nelly Furtado y Justin Timberlake, entre otros.
Influenciado por Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Donny Hathaway y Marvin Gaye, Williams sabe tocar la batería, el piano y la guitarra.
En 2013, se destacó notablemente en dos de los grandes materiales de ese año, su trabajo como colaborador y productor en el cuarto trabajo de Daft Punk, Random Access Memories, realizando dos tracks: Get Lucky y Lose Yourself to Dance, y en el éxito Blurred Lines, del cantante de R&B Robin Thicke, lo que le valió el Grammy al Productor del año.
